TUONO 50 AND TUONO 125

Following on the extraordinary success of the Tuono 1000, the introduction of the Tuono 50 and Tuono 125 decisively marks the arrival of the streetfighter look among small engine motorcycles.
As could be expected, Aprilia is tackling this aggressive but practical market segment with an innovative, ready approach that will allow younger riders to experience real motorcycling from prestige machines with manual gearshifts. The Tuono 50 and Tuono 125 are a natural extension to the Tuono range, and maintain the same aggressive look, exceptional handling and comfortable riding position of their big sister. Minimal bodywork and a compact cockpit fairing bring out the best of the streetfighter look from a high performance 125 and an exclusive, prestigious 50. The same wind tunnel studies that permitted April’s engineers to perfect the handling of the Tuono 1000 have ensured that the Tuono 50 and Tuono 125 share the same exceptional ergonomics with high and wide handlebars that give the rider limitless control, exceptional comfort and enviable handling. The Tuono 50 and 125 are without a doubt the most original of all entry level motorcycles, and are destined to be the first in a line of streetfighters designed to ensure easy entry into real motorcycling.
An aluminium frame, disk brakes front and rear, instrumentation complete with rev counter, five spoke aluminium wheels, a six speed gearbox, a practical lockable storage compartment in the tail and an aggressively styled cockpit fairing are all part of the Tuono family’s DNA. The 50 cc version is equipped with a 35 mm hydraulic fork that affords a wheel travel of 110 mm. The swinging arm at the rear is damped by a gas monoshock that gives 120 mm of wheel travel. The suspension setup guarantees excellent stability and safety. Plenty of braking power is provided by a 280 mm stainless steel disk at the front, a 220 mm disk at the rear and callipers with 28 mm pistons.
The 125 machine has all the components necessary to harness the generous 29.25 HP (21.5 kW) of the full power engine. (A restricted 11 kW version is available on some markets.) The 125 fits a 40 mm upside down fork and a prestigious aluminium swinging arm with gas monoshock that offers spring preload adjustment and a wheel travel of 120 mm.
The 125’s front brakes feature a floating 320 mm disk and four parallel piston calliper. A 220 mm disk and calliper with 32 mm pistons is fitted at the rear. The 125’s technical specifications also include a high power headlight and 17” wheels.
Handling is firmly based on the principles of absolute safety, total control, and the same aggressive spirit as the Tuono 1000.
What best characterises the smaller Tunas, however, is their extraordinarily ergonomic design - a design that ensures incredible agility in traffic and town riding. The Tuono 50 and Tuono 125 are real motorcycles and feature a race inspired colour scheme. Their ease of handling and instant appeal also make them ideal for members of the fairer sex who have no intentions of doing without the sensations that only motorcycling can give.

sind ja beide auf der webseite von aprilia ( www.aprilia.at od …com ) zu sehen. nettes spielzeug für nachwuchs, und markstrategisch gut für die firma. aber als 2-tackter wahrscheinlich in österreich nicht zu haben.
